Beach Adventures

It is so nice that she walks now. Last year at the beach was a little boring when she would just sit in the same spot all day. Now we are always off on an adventure. The best part is when she would just head off to the ocean, house, or wherever never looking back. :-)

Off to check out the sailboat with Daddy.

Practicing her kick in the ocean with Mommy.

Stomping in the puddles!

Sandcastle Building

More pictures from Grandma's camera! Over the 4th there was LOTS of sandcastle building. Of course, Little Miss loved getting in on the action.

Boat Rides

This summer we made it to Savannah quite a few times. Little Miss enjoyed the boat rides MUCH more this time around. Remember last year? Partially because she was big enough for a different style life jacket. Both days we went out our destination was the beach! Thanks to Grandma for sharing all these pictures from her camera.
Family Portrait with a sleeping Little Miss.

Future boater? I think so!

Quick snooze. Nothing like the hum of boat engine to put you to sleep.

Of course, she has her own beach chair. :-)
Bonus points for the drink holder.

Loving the water with Grandma!

Just the right size. :-)
She didn't mind digging in the dirt but always made sure to rinse her hands and feet often.

Summer Fun

We've had LOTS of little adventures and play dates where there are just one or two pictures I'd love to share. As school quickly approaches here's a bit of review.

My little assistant as a photo shoot with some cute babies.
Having a snack while Mommy sets up the next shot.

She was less than thrilled at times but enjoyed running loose in a fenced back yard.

First movie with BFF was a hit! Thankfully, Studio Movie Grill served lunch right about the time they were loosing interest.
Madagascar was a hit!

 Back Porch FUN
Water table fun! Who knew this could entertain 5 children for over an hour?

 Duluth Fountain
This fountain did not mess around. The water pressure was HARD!

All three were pretty timid but still got wet.

Still Celebrating

Whoops! I never posted pictures from the little family party we had here in Atlanta.

Cousins and Friends Forever

This go around she LOVED the singing.

M&M's were still a winner!

Testing out the tunnel.

This picture has TWO year old written all over it. :-)

First official tea party guests were Aunt Laura and Uncle Jef.
They were great sports. Especially when Little Miss let Uncle Jef know that sitting on the hearth was unacceptable. "Jeffrey! Sit down!"

Baby Deer

We had three fawn this Spring! Most recently was a PRECIOUS set of twins. For at least a week the mother would drop them off to stay with us for a few hours. It's crazy but I guess when the deer are super tiny and can't keep up the Mom leaves them in a spot and comes back a few hours later.

Like clock work they started in the front yard every afternoon and once getting spooked moved over to the side yard.
It's a regular zoo around here!
Only, the kid is whose on the inside of the window. :-)

Watching out the side window. Little Miss is wearing her CAMO. Pink polk dot camo that is.

She wanted to be like the deer. Those spots really help camafloge in the leaves.

In honor of having "Baby Deer! Baby Deer!" We like to repeat things around here.
Anyway, in honor she has taken many a ride on our pretend deer.

4th of July

I love the 4th of July! Not just becuase of what it stands for but because we are usually at the beach. Having a birthday right around then means Little Miss MUST have cute attire.

I think I took about 5 pictures where Little Miss was a blurr from moving. Grandpa just kept smiling. :-)

The headband lasted about 2 minutes.

Here we are!

And if birthday's and 4th of July wern't enough we had a Luau.

Start 'em early.
